Ukraine War: Defence minister Reznikov is sacked, as Zelenskyy seeks ‘new approach’

Ukraine’s defence minister Oleksii Reznikov has been dismissed – as Volodymyr Zelenskyy prepares to make the biggest political shake-up in Ukraine since the start of Russia’s invasion in February 2022.

Mr Reznikov confirmed on social media he had sent his resignation letter to the chairman of parliament.
