Coldplay’s Chris Martin falls through stage

Coldplay’s Chris Martin has fallen through a stage during a concert in Australia.

The 47-year-old was performing at the Accor Stadium in Sydney as part of Coldplay’s world tour.

In footage shared on social media, Martin appeared to stumble into a gap in the stage while walking backwards.

Someone appeared to reach out their arms to catch the singer and he returned to the stage before thanking those who assisted him.

“That’s, uh, not planned. Thank you for catching me. Thank you guys. Holy s***,” he said.

“I did not know that hole was there.”

Last month, American singer Olivia Rodrigo fell through the stage at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne.

She reassured fans she was “okay” after the fall during the Australian leg of her Guts World Tour.
