Samantha Fox cleared of assaulting wife as she faces sentencing for lesser charges

Samantha Fox has been cleared of assaulting her wife, as she faces sentencing for lesser charges today.

The former Big Brother star and glamour model had been due to stand trial at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Monday, accused of assaulting her partner Linda Olsen by beating her at Heathrow Airport on 3 December 2023.

The alleged incident reportedly stopped a flight from London to Munich from taking off.

It is understood that the assault charge was dropped after changes to evidence meant there was no longer a realistic prospect of conviction.

The 58-year-old had already pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly and using threatening behaviour, and causing harassment, alarm, or distress to a police constable during a court hearing in April.

On Monday, in court, she will be sentenced for the two charges.

According to reports at the time, Fox spent a night in a police cell after the alleged incident on board the flight.
