Sky News’ military analyst Professor Michael Clarke has addressed newly emerged evidence which has provided insight into who may have blown up the Kakhovka dam, causing catastrophic flooding.

He says he is “99% sure” that the Russians were responsible, after referring to seismic disturbances recorded by a Norwegian monitoring station, which suggest that “major” explosions took place.

This disputes Russia’s claims that Ukraine had used American-supplied HIMARS precision-guided artillery to destroy the dam.
