Deputy Labour Leader Angela Rayner calls the ‘social distant drinks’ event at Number 10 in May 2020 as ‘despicable and disgusting.’

An e-mail has emerged inviting No 10 staff to the garden party while it was still illegal to do so. Sky news understands the Prime Minister and his wife attended the party.

Boris Johnson was asked earlier today if he attended the event and he said ‘all of that will come out in the investigation.’

Angela Rayner says ‘no one is above the law and if the law was broken then the Met police should investigate this.’
